Cetaphil lotion review: smooth like a šŸ‘¶šŸ»?

As a person with more sensitive skin, I feel like I’ve tried too many lotions and ointments and salves and skin helpers over the years.

If you are looking for a light lotion to moisturize your skin, you may have come across three popular brands: Cetaphil, Aveeno, and Aquaphor. These lotions claim to be suitable for sensitive skin and to provide hydration and protection. But how do they compare in terms of ingredients, performance, and price? In this review, I have been trying Cetaphil for several weeks and discuss if it’s the best for your skin type and needs. Let’s get started! 🧓

Cetaphil lotion can come from a pump vessel or a more swab, vaseline-esque mug. I feel the more it’s like vaseline, the more it probably heals.

It leaves an oily finish. With that you can tell it’s still there more than 24 hours later. Does it hit the full 48 hours of coverage? Yes, but why didn’t you shower again!

Does it heal your red fighting skin? Yes, but it’s not 100% friendly all the sensitive skins. It has a bit more in it than a simple vaseline. It heals the skin, but not always the quickest.

Do I recommend it? Yes if you can find it for a good deal. But what would I pick of the three? Maybe the one rhyming most with water… more thoughts are needed.

Charging at Electrify America: When it rains and you need an umbrella

Driving an EV without a place to charge at home is not recommended. Sure the new ones can go three hundred miles… in perfect conditions… from 100% to 0%… and there’s that tiny reserve to get to the charger… 🚘.

But realistically you’ll charge your car to 80 or 90% to save the battery lifetime. Then you’ll charge it by 20 or 10%. And what car gets 100% of rating? 70+% of the rating is more likely if not driving with the most eco friendly feet šŸ‘£.

Ideally the home wall outlet of 1% of range per hour is enough (2-5 miles), or you installed a dryer outlet charger to get 5-10% of charge an hour. Then you only charge on roadtrips.

For everyone else, there’s Electrify America. So you’ll have to charge outside sometimes.

Charging today with the 50 KW rated, 48 KW actual Chademo Electrify America station, I can get where I need to go.. by waiting 30+ minutes. Fortunately it’s rush hour so the choice was sitting in traffic versus sitting in charger. I recommend the most relaxing for your blood pressure,

So please, install a home charger. Don’t fight the app to remember your log in, check if the charger is taken or not, check if it has broken or not on Plugshare recently, and sit at your favorite grocery store for half an hour.

Unless you have to. I’m glad they exist. But charging while you sleep is much more supreme.

Every KW counts.

Meta Quest 3 Review: Just Focus

meta quest 3 headset

The Meta Quest 3 is the latest and most advanced standalone VR headset from Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook. It promises to deliver a more immersive and realistic VR experience than ever before, with a higher resolution, a faster processor, a slimmer design, and a color passthrough feature that allows you to see the real world in VR. But does it live up to the hype? And how does it compare to its predecessor, the Meta Quest 2, which is still a great option for VR enthusiasts on a budget?

I can’t tell you how it compares to the Quest 2. They both are on sale at Costco at the time of writing, maybe you can tell me?

Compared to a ā€˜simple’ head mounted screen like the Xreal Air 2 Pro? Also I can’t tell you today… definitely soon.

Compared to the DJI Goggles 2? Watch for this. Although they don’t have AR passthrough, they do have head mounted displays.

The Meta Quest 3 unit under review is a non-sponsored 512GB. Testing it out from the first couple of weeks, my first thought is that it’s great to use until you get a headache.

Ghosts of Tabor: akimbo!

The VR games are not the most in depth or high polygon count, but they are coming together. Watch for more reviews.

Overall, I’ll give it a review score of:
