Meta Quest 3 Review: Just Focus

meta quest 3 headset

The Meta Quest 3 is the latest and most advanced standalone VR headset from Meta, the company formerly known as Facebook. It promises to deliver a more immersive and realistic VR experience than ever before, with a higher resolution, a faster processor, a slimmer design, and a color passthrough feature that allows you to see the real world in VR. But does it live up to the hype? And how does it compare to its predecessor, the Meta Quest 2, which is still a great option for VR enthusiasts on a budget?

I can’t tell you how it compares to the Quest 2. They both are on sale at Costco at the time of writing, maybe you can tell me?

Compared to a ‘simple’ head mounted screen like the Xreal Air 2 Pro? Also I can’t tell you today… definitely soon.

Compared to the DJI Goggles 2? Watch for this. Although they don’t have AR passthrough, they do have head mounted displays.

The Meta Quest 3 unit under review is a non-sponsored 512GB. Testing it out from the first couple of weeks, my first thought is that it’s great to use until you get a headache.

Ghosts of Tabor: akimbo!

The VR games are not the most in depth or high polygon count, but they are coming together. Watch for more reviews.

Overall, I’ll give it a review score of:

Seven meatball asteroids. ☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️☄️
